It is amazing to see how people are registering this as a good idea but equally amazing that we are having to give people the idea. Many say they never thought of it and just went to the supermarket. It is well worth the effort of arranging the cash mobs. Social media and the local radio stations and local paper have made it so easy to get it under people's radar. Amanda - I'd be happy to help and guide you if you want to set up in your area. Karen Mercer inspired several of the Mumsclub top 100 to have a go! I am really glad she did.

Love the blog I have been pushing for awareness on buying local in NW SURREY for just over a year now but there is a huge resistant to change. I see small businesses open and close in the blink of an eye and new ideas come ago- do people not realise the impact it has on the environment when we stop supporting the individual shops and the small businesses online ? I remain amazed at the choice of ignorance over action and applaud your efforts , hats off to you xx
